“Rick Meyer was a very dedicated & devoted husband, father & baseball coach. Coach Rick would do whatever was necessary to make sure the game would go on. He would rake & line the infield, teach the players proper techniques while working a tournament sun up to sun down. Coach Rick was also a “pitching machine” - throwing an endless # of pitches at batting practices. Rick somehow always managed to successfully balance family, work, coaching and earn his Doctorate degree. Rick is and was a role model for all players & parents. Rick Meyer loved his family, coaching and giving back to his community. We need more people like Rick Meyer on our teams!!"
